His Mercy Endures Forever- Psalms 118

Each day that we wake up in the morning, we have the confidence that our hot water will work to take a shower. We have confidence that our stove will work to cook breakfast. We have confidence that our car will start and get us to work. We have confidence in our paycheck on payday. On Sunday morning, we have confidence in the Pastor, that he’s preaching what thus saith the Lord. A pilot has confidence in his plane. A commuter has confidence in the city bus, train, or subway. But when we wake up in the morning, how much confidence do we have in God! 

Are we confident that his mercy will follow us throughout the day? Are we confident that He will extend grace to us one more time? Are we confident that He will supply all of our needs? Are we confident in Him? Psalms 118, merely tells us that His mercy endureth forever. That no matter what we experience in life, His mercy still endures. People can talk about us and put us down, but God’s mercy still endures. He is a faithful God and nothing can stop His love for us! 

No matter how many times the enemy tries to kill, steal, and destroy, God’s mercy endures forever. His love is unfailing. We should have confidence in God's love and His mercy, that no matter what life throws our way, His mercy overshadows it all! 

Today take some time to trust what the Word of God says! Trust that God is with us even in our moments of despair. Even in our weakness, let’s find strength in knowing that God is sovereign and His mercy endures forever!
